Methods To Cleansing Crystals-

1. Remember, Re-using Crystals from other workings is okay, just make sure you cleanse all stones before and after each spell use. (Before because they can still absorb negativity even if not being actively used. After because you want to clear your intention from the stone before giving it a 'new job'.)

2. If you are wearing it daily in a pocket, cleanse as often as is felt needed, minimum once a month with heavy use.

A. Smudging- Passing your stone through incense smoke.

B. Energizing – Place smaller crystal on larger to ‘charge’ it and remove any lingering negativity.

C. Visualization – Visualize your crystal surrounded by the color light that you feel is purifying and cleansing.

D. Place in the light of the full Moon

E. Nature- place stone in bowl of flower petals. (Roses, honeysuckle, lily petals)

F. Bury in bowl of brown rice to ground the stone's energy.

G. Cleanse with sound- the ringing of a bell will help cleanse your stones with vibration.

H. Water- use caution with this one. Unless you know what type of stone you have, cleansing with water could damage your stone.

I. Salt- may "beginner" websites suggest using salt and water to cleanse your stones, but this is a more advanced method because you have to understand the chemical composition of your stone. Any stone that ends in "-ite" should not be cleansed with salt. (i.e. Hematite, Sugalite, Celestite)
